Get the Avero Companion App

The Avero Companion is the staff app for the floor — pair a device, run reservations and the waitlist, and take orders tableside from a phone or tablet. Free on the App Store and Google Play.

Requirements​

  • iOS 16+ iPhone or iPad, or Android 10+ phone or tablet.
  • A location already set up in Avero — see Set up your tasting room.
  • A staff account with the Server, Manager, or Owner role.

Install on iPhone or iPad​

  1. Open the App Store and search "Avero Companion", or tap the App Store badge above on your device.
  2. Tap Get, then open the app. Allow notifications so you get seating and order alerts on the floor.

Install on Android​

  1. Open Google Play and search "Avero Companion", or tap the Google Play badge above.
  2. Tap Install, open the app, and allow notifications.

Pair your device​

  1. In Avero on the web, go to Settings › Devices › Pair a device to generate a short-lived code.
  2. On the Companion welcome screen, tap Pair device and enter the code. The device links to your location and signs in.
tip

Pairing codes expire quickly and are single-use. Generate a fresh one per device from Settings › Devices; revoke a lost device there too.

What you can do​

  • Seat walk-ins and work the waitlist from the floor.
  • View and update reservations in real time.
  • Take tableside orders and send them to the POS.
  • Look up a guest's profile, tags, and visit history.
